Admin Assistant - Bury St Edmunds

I am looking to speak to ambitious individuals with a background of working in administrative and customer/client facing roles who might be interested in a role at a law firm in Bury St Edmunds.

The successful candidate will be providing an administrative service across all legal departments to ensure that the office runs as efficiently as possible.

Duties may include things such as:-

  • Diary Management
  • Answering and directing telephone calls and dealing with clients who come into the office ensuring a professional service is given.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post and distributing accordingly
  • Scanning, photocopying, faxing and filing of documents
  • Arranging marketing events
  • Arranging social events
  • Coordinating staff attendance at training courses and seminars and ensuring all records are up to date
  • Other general administrative tasks as required

The firm envisages excellent progression prospects for someone who comes on board, works hard and is able to contribute to the smooth running of the teams. There is the potential for progression up to office manager over time should things work out as planned so this would suit people who are looking for excellent development opportunities.

As well as having a background in admin work the successful candidate must be friendly, personable and confident in order to thrive in this position and fit into the existing team.
