JOB TITLE: Administration Assistant 

SALARY & BENEFITS: up to £15,000 dependent on experience 

WORKING HOURS: Full Time – Monday to Friday

THE COMPANY & THE ROLE: Our client are a highly reputable financial planning firm with offices in Cupar and St Andrews. Due to an internal promotion and expansion into St Andrews, an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant has become available. This is a full-time position based in the office in Cupar although occasion cover for our St Andrews office may be required. 

This could be great opportunity for a School or College leaver looking to start and develop a career with a company that has record of promoting and developing internal staff. 

THE ROLE: As an Administration Assistant you will work within a close-knit team but within a larger structure overall providing support to a team of highly skilled and professional colleagues. Our client has an excellent reputation within the industry, and prides themselves on service delivery and their impact within the high-end market. Duties will vary day to day but you will be handling incoming phone and email enquiries, scanning and dealing with incoming mail as well as a range of admin support tasks. 

THE CANDIDATE: For the Administration Assistant vacancy previous experience is not essential, but would be beneficial, as full training will be given to the successful applicant with the option to study for industry qualifications. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are of paramount importance to our client. In addition you will need to be a well organised and effective communicator who has good IT skills and has a clear and polite telephone manner. Candidates will need to be able to commute to Cupar, Fife. 

Key Experience / Characteristics preferred for the Administration Assistant role :-

- Previous experience not essential but preferred (full training provided)
- Will need to show willingness and enthusiasm to learn
- IT literacy and good communication skills essential
- Will need to be able to commute to Cupar in Fife and St Andrews.
