Manufacturing - Accounts payable clerk
£20,000 - £24,000 per annum.

Are you an organised and enthusiastic accounts payable clerk seeking a new challenge? Are you looking for a varied role giving you exposure to internal and external stakeholders and the opportunity to be part of a vibrant, motivated team?

My client is a manufacturing company growing vastly and have now opened a brand new state of the art office in the heart of Manchester city centre to accommodate a huge growth in the company. Staff numbers have risen from 50 to 200 in the last 18 months and they plan for continuous growth.

You will be responsible for the processing of invoices daily working to a target and maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are settled within payment terms whilst offering support to the Accounts payable manager, suggesting ways to improve processes and functions. You will also work towards strict month end deadlines and standard day to day accounting tasks.

Your will have accounts payable experience including an extensive knowledge of Sage 50 accounts package (or other ERP systems). You will have excellent attention to detail and be an organised individual who can manage their workload effectively ensuring deadlines are met. You will also be efficient in excel and be a confident communicator with colleagues and clients respectively.

The salary range for this role is between £20,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience and skill set
