Accounts Admin Clerk and Bookkeeper – Competitive Salary DOE – Southport, Merseyside

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and capable Account Admin Clerk and Bookkeeper to join our established costs firm based in Southport, specialising primarily in catastrophic injury and clinical negligence work. This role is on a part time flexible (hours to suit) basis and may suit an applicant looking to compliment other clients or part time employment. This is an opportunity to take on a fresh and exciting challenge with us!

The key responsibilities of an Accounts Admin Clerk and Bookkeeper cover the following:

  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Supplier Bank Payments
  • Customer Remittance Processing
  • Purchase Invoice Entry and Reconciliation
  • Sales Invoicing
  • Credit Control
  • Preparation and extraction of data for the Management Team
  • Payroll (via external provider)
  • Pension processing
  • Voucher conversion to invoices

  • A high level of professionalism at all times and a strong work ethic, able to work off own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Able to work to deadlines and manage own workload as required
