Our client has an exciting vacancy open for an Accounts/Audit Manager in a growing corporate services department, based in their Preston offices. This is an opportunity to work within a company who prides themselves on investing in their staff for career and personal development.

The Role
This role offers opportunities for advancement within a challenging and stimulating environment, this is a position that would suit a driven individual. You will be working in the corporate services department, delivering a high quality services to an extensive client base. The main roles within this position are to look after audit and non-audit clients with responsibility for completing assignments for partner/director review, highlighting issues for discussion with the client, ensuring regular contact is kept with clients to maintain a credible relationship, co-ordinating compliance service delivery to clients and timetabling work wherever possible to suit the needs of the client. Along with these responsibilities there will be typical managerial duties involved with this role too. Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates MUST have an ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent), or be qualified by experience
Have recent experience of working in practice and managing a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients
Technical competence and compliance including experience of preparing/reviewing FRS 102 accounts
Have up to date technical knowledge of financial reporting standards
The ability to produce realistic projections and comment on draft projections versus historic accounts
Be I.T literate, with strong abilities in using Excel and Word
Have good knowledge of corporate and personal tax
Desirable skills would include the ability to use CCH accounts production software and paperless audit software
At least 1 to 2 years post qualified with experience of managing audit and non-audit clients.

Key Skills
The successful candidate MUST be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills,
Have a keen eye for detail and be able to work well individually as well as in a team.
