Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger, AAT) BLUA68789

Normanton, Wakefield

Salary range £17,000 - £18,000

Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm – Monday to Friday

 

Our client has been supporting industry for over 30 years. They one of the UK’s leading independent providers of industrial power tools, accessories and consumables.

 

Their clients represent a diverse range of industries including aerospace, automotive, public sector, utilities, manufacturing, foundries, defence and rail. Their nationwide operation not only supplies and repairs equipment, they offer service plans and deliver vital health & safety training: adding value for their customers’ businesses.

 

They are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them in Normanton, Wakefield.

 

Reporting to the Management Accountant you will assist with and produce Financial and Operational reports and carry out all Sales Ledger and Credit Control activities. Working with customers to ensure timely payments by handling invoice issues and sending statements, you will deal with Bank Reconciliations, credit card payments and customer invoice system management.

 

With previous Sales Ledger experience and ideally an Accounts Qualification such as AAT, you will have good Excel and IT Skills and experience of Sage Software (Ideally Sage 50). If you are looking to join a growing accounts department within an ambitious company, then this is the role for you!
