This is a small but extremely busy accounts department which requires a starter finisher with a ‘can do’ flexible attitude. This role would suit an experienced all round Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper. You will have all-round accounts experience, competent with book- keeping principles ideally up to trial balance as well as good communication and strong computer skills- particularly Excel and fully conversant with SAGE
Working and reporting to the Financial Controller & Operations Manager the main focus of the role will be providing accounts support in processing of Purchase and Sales Ledger invoices, monitoring & processing purchase orders, preparing supplier payment runs, maintaining the company’s Credit Control, processing purchase card payments and dealing with customer and supplier queries.
In addition you will contribute to the running of the rest of the operations team as well as other areas of the business as required
Salary: £18-£20k dependant on experience
Terms: Full time - 30 hours per week - hours/days negotiable
Permanent position based in Morecambe, Lancashire
You must be eligible to work unrestricted within the UK.
