Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a successful business based in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career within Finance due to the blend of this varied role.
Reporting to one of the director's, you will be providing effective day to day accounts support across all aspects of the department.
My client offer a fantastic, dynamic working environment with free parking on-site, however, the office is also easily reachable via public transport.
Duties & Responsibilities:
*Carrying out credit control duties (telephone calls, sending email/letters, updating electronic log)
*Taking and reconciling payments - debit/credit card & cash
*Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger duties
*Bank posting and reconciliations
*Checking and processing payments
*Filing annual returns, company accounts
*Petty cash office
*Producing budget reviews
*Ad-hoc duties as requested & day to day operations of a busy finance department
Skills & Experience Required:
*Minimum 12 months' Accountancy & Finance experience
*Excellent IT skills and use of Microsoft Office Packages (especially Excel)
*Currently studying or qualified AAT or equivalent qualification
