Our client currently has an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team and support the full range of activities for both the sales and purchase ledger.  This is an internal role within their Finance Department (IAD).

With previous experience of working in an accounts department, your responsibilities will include the processing of purchase invoices and credit notes. You will contribute to maintaining the company's records including petty cash, and will assist in the production of month end reports and procedures. Attention to detail and accuracy is an essential part of your role.

A key aspect of this role is to assist with purchase ledger queries, liaising with suppliers to ensure efficiency with our processes and procedures. You will also be responsible for the reconciliation of supplier statements.

The successful candidate will be IT literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be systematic and logical in your approach to decision making and be able to establish, build and maintain relationships. You will have a friendly, patient nature and maintain a persuasive, diplomatic approach with others. Good time management skills and the capacity to work to deadlines is also a must, as is the ability to remain calm and professional in all interactions.
