The Worlds largest Training/Education Provider are currently looking for Sales Account Managers to cover the North West of England - primarily York/Leeds. Your role will be home based with travel across the Regions and will involve identifying employers who need government funded training for their staff. This role will suit someone who has the ability to manage their own time, travelling between local businesses to speak to Managers and potential learners. (The full support of an established Operations team will be available). Your ultimate goal will be to increase the number of businesses and learners who take part in these government funded training schemes, through; - Visiting Managers of businesses to promote the idea of staff enrolling on government funded training (Apprenticeships/NVQs/Training - Maintaining a high profile with employers via regular telephone calls, face to face visits and conducting training and needs analysis - Maintaining an employers database, ensuring that all leads are entered accordingly - Monitoring, updating and liaising with NVQ Assessors - Attending relevant events and exhibitions and generally supporting the sales and marketing strategy - Updating and completing employer / learner related paperwork The suitable candidate will have a proven track record in field sales gained within the education/training industry. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully liaise with people at all levels. MUST be a self starter and able to hit the ground running with a proven track record in sales preferably business to business, solution sales rather than product sales. It is also essential that you drive, have a car and are able to travel around frequently. This role would suit someone who is tenacious, target driven, confident in presenting and has excellent organisational skills. These role offers a salary of £35k plus bonus.
