Friday Media Group is a massively successful UK-based digital Media company with UK offices in Preston, Brighton, Pembroke and Miami.

At our Preston branch, we operate a number of market leading job boards servicing markets such as Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Law, Aviation, Travel and Automotive.  Generating almost 1 million visits per month and helping companies like Sky, Virgin Atlantic, Tui, BMW and the AA  we are one of the UK’s leading online recruitment businesses

Due to our continued success we are growing and expanding our teams and to support our growth plans we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the team at our offices in Fulwood, Preston..

The main responsibilities of our Account Managers are:

  • To convert incoming hot leads into high value sales

  • To improve customer retention

  • To increase customer spend

 


We don’t just hire anyone - We need strong, passionate, resilient and highly motivated, money hungry sales people who are ready and willing to go that extra mile to help grow our business, retain customers and increase customer spend. You will be bright, articulate and be customer service oriented, proactive with a passionate yet natural sales approach.  You will have professional, persuasive and empathetic sales skills, with a positive, tenacious and persistent attitude.  A confident communicator, who is able to deliver effective sales presentations. Self motivated, but with a customer focused approach, professional and with strong organisational skills. You will be able to learn a niche market quickly, be a strong networker, and be a strong closer over the telephone and face to face.

The absolutely ideal candidate will have experience in media advertising, recruitment or advertising sales, although extensive training is offered.  

We are a friendly and sociable office and our work life balance is second to none. Our social calendar is just as great with multiple office parties and events throughout the year, reward incentives for top performers including roof top terrace BBQ’s, days out and huge HUGE incentives!
