Account Coordinator

Salary £16,500 - £19,000 per annum depending on experience

Working hours for the role are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (40-hour week).

20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

INTRODUCTION

PURPOSE OF JOB

To help deliver exceptional customer service to an allocated portfolio of clients.

You will be responsible for production planning and managing the administrative tasks required to ensure our clients get the best possible service. Additionally, you will assist the Account Manager in additional tasks as required to develop and improve client relationships.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To be a main point of contact for the customer from point of enquiry through to invoice.

Planning: ensuring all components are available to meet production requirements and working with customer forecasts to schedule required works.

Goods in & out: arranging deliveries with the customer & liaising with the warehouse, transport companies, as well as other departments and external suppliers.

Handling customer requests.

Maintaining client records & internal datasheets.

To have an understanding of Sage, including item setup, BOMs, routes, work orders, purchase orders & sales orders.

Answering telephone queries.

Additional and specific tasks allocated in accordance with the client or manager’s requirements.

 

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Customer service or client management

A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages helpful (especially Excel)

The temperament to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Confident, thorough and collaborative approach

Good communication skills with a professional manner

Positive, enthusiastic, pro-active & flexible

A good understanding of numeric data

Degree level education not essential
