Description
An opportunity has arisen with one of our clients within a busy Microsoft Access team, for a talented developer with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record in delivering quality Microsoft Access applications to demanding clients. This position is to initially cover a Maternity Contract.
The role will involve every aspect of the development cycle including helping clients to create specification documents, database design, data migration, forms development, report writing, end-user training and ongoing support
The successful candidate will possess the following essential skills and experience:
• At least 12 months commercial experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office Applications
• In depth knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Data Analysis, Migration and Transact SQL expertise
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 experience including SSIS jobs
The following would be a distinct advantage:
• SharePoint/InfoPath
• Visual Studio
• ASP.NET (C# or VB)
• JavaScript
• Knowledge of Active Directory / Exchange environments
• Crystal Reports
Applicants must be able to demonstrate Access database systems that they have created at interview stage.
Salary: £20 - £25k
