I am currently seeking a Systems Support Administrator to join an established travel company based in South Essex, due to further expansion of the business. You will be working within a small busy team monitoring and maintaining the booking systems and web sites, aswell as providing ad-hoc systems support and training to your colleagues and writing guide manuals to help internal staff. You will be trained on the job, but the ideal candidate will need to be confident creating and editing manuals for internal staff. If you have a passionate for I.T and like to spend your spare time on computers, building, fixing and updating them this could be a great career move for you. The successful candidate must be a car owner due to the location of the office.
*Dealing with support requests from internal staff
*Listening to issues and gathering information to sufficiently investigate reported issues
*Provide support and training to the wider business on system usage
*Collate bug reports and send them to the relevant teams to be processed
*Learning complex systems - how they work and how they are used
*Attending meetings, taking notes and writing them up
*Supporting system testing to ensure they meet the specifications
*Previous experience working in the I.T. sector of another company, although full training will be given.
*The ability to work in a team environment aswell as your own initiative
*Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively providing I.T. support to colleagues at all levels.
*The ability to work under pressure and manage your own priorities; which is a key requirement of the role.
Monday to Friday; 08.30 - 17.00hrs or 09.00 - 17.30hrs
The successful candidate can expect a starting of £23k
